10 Mar Back To Liverpool We Go: 2022 Open Championship
“Hoylake— blown upon by might winds, breeder of mighty champions….” – Bernard Darwin
With genuine excitement and anticipation, it is with great pleasure that we announce that Royal Liverpool Golf Club “Hoylake” has been chosen as the host site for the The 151st Open Championship, July 10-17, 2022.
Hoylake is no stranger to this tournament, as this will be the 13th time the epic tournament will grace these challenging links on England’s stunning Golf Coast.
The last time the tournament was hosted at Hoylake, Rory McIlroy held off Rickie Fowler and Sergio Garcia with a two-stroke victory in 2014. McIlroy became the third golfer from Northern Ireland to win the Championship. Let us not forget the emotional Tiger Woods’ finish & victory in 2006.
With all the great moments of history in mind, this location holds a special place in the hearts of Signature Golf employees for another reason, as our company’s first days began in the city of Liverpool, and the Golf Coast continues to be the location for our England Office, from which we serve our clients overseas.
More information relating to our Open Championship offerings will be available soon. Look out for more!
